Among the glitz and glam that we have in store, you’ll soon realise, ‘I don’t think we’re in Kansas anymore’. Trust us, out of ‘all the gin joints, in all the towns, in all the world’ you’ll want to walk into ours!

Think you’re ready for your close up? Say hello to the paparazzi at the photobooths. Or prefer it ‘shaken, not stirred’? We will have plenty of beverages flowing and tasty morsels on offer.

We know you won’t be able to resist the fun we have planned, so make sure you treat this better than your uni assignments and don’t leave buying tickets till the last minute! ‘You talking to me?’ YES, we’re talking to you!

The QUTLS Law Dinner is an exciting annual event, designed to publicly recognise the efforts and achievements exhibited by the members of the QUT Law Society throughout the year. Especially important in 2021, the Law Dinner helps build a sense of pride and a community of excellence within the QUT cohort.

A prestigious venue is selected each year to host a formal sit down dinner, where guest speakers are invited to present to the QUTLS community. Awards are presented to students who have achieved exemplary performance within the QUT Law faculty to recognise individual achievements as well as a presentation recapping the year to celebrate the QUT Law community as a whole.

Come and meet the Law Society, discuss the intricacies of Yanner v Eaton, have a group cry session, and celebrate finally getting that assignment in on time.

While we may not be fully back to campus yet, we can sure party like we are.

Four venues have been selected this year, and each $40 ticket includes x4 free drinks (one at each venue) and your own QUTLS 2021 Pub Crawl t-shirt (with Pub Crawl Bingo printed on the back for the first 40 purchasers).

COVID has taken so much from us – Law Ball 2020, a mass influx of Euro summer insta uploads over Jun-Jul and the ‘special energy’ of the Friday’s dancefloor to name a few. But one thing it cannot take from us is the gradual murmurings floating through the Lawbry as exams come to an end, the law student cry of… ‘Letsgetrekt!’
