It’s time for the Championship Moot! Compete against your fellow students for the opportunity to be crowned “QUT’s best mooter”.

The Championship Moot is suitable for all law students, but in particular is the perfect opportunity for experienced mooters to hone their skills and compete against other experienced students. Just like with all of our moot competitions, the Championship Moot is an excellent chance to tackle a real-world problem in front of real-world practitioners.

This year along with the new name we will also have a new Trophy for the winners, and more prizes available for best oralist, best written submissions and best rookie mooter.

Who:
Students of all experience levels are welcome to participate in the Championship Moot. If you do not have a teammate, that is okay! We will connect you with another single competitor. There will be a separate award for the best team for whom this will be their first Moot (so don’t worry if you haven't mooted before)

Overall Winners (win the trophy)
