QUTLS x UNSA ICL Moot
Inspired by the International Criminal Court Moot held in the Netherlands, QUT Law Society (QUTLS) and the QUT United Nations Student Association (QUTUNSA) are pleased to announce the 2021 International Criminal Law Moot.
Teams of students will compete across oral and written submissions in response to a problem. This interesting legal quandary will be released soon!
Students of all experience levels are welcome to participate, and we encourage high-achieving students to take the challenge and tackle a complex legal issue while having the opportunity to thrive in a competitive courtroom environment.
Supervised and judged by past competitors, court officials, experienced practitioners and advisors, competitors are given decisive and informational direction and feedback.
This is an excellent opportunity to develop your research and advocacy skills to further your career within the legal industry.
The Grand Final will be held in the Banco Court on April 27th. Save the date!
Register as a team of 2-3 or as an individual and we will place you in a team. Registrations open 29 March.
Note: each team member must be a member of either QUTLS or QUTUNSA.
While we’d love to see you, please stay at home if you are unwell or have a cough, fever, sore throat, fatigue or shortness of breath. If you become unwell during the event, please locate and seek assistance from a QUTLS or QUTUNSA committee member.
